We are proud to share that Peel Panthers Football Club has received a generous donation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) from AED.ca, thanks to the incredible support and leadership of CEO Martin Andrews.
Martin has long been an advocate for community safety and youth sport. In his own words, “AED.ca is in the business to help save lives.” He expressed how inspired he is by the work Peel Panthers is doing to support and uplift young people in the community—on and off the field.
This donation is more than just equipment—it’s peace of mind. In high-intensity sports like football, cardiac incidents, while rare, can happen. When every second counts, access to an AED can be the difference between life and death.
The importance of AEDs has been further reinforced by Football Ontario, which now requires all clubs to have an AED on-site during practices and games. This life-saving device ensures we meet that standard and are fully prepared in the event of an emergency.
We are incredibly grateful to Martin and the entire team at AED.ca for recognizing the value of safety in sport and for supporting our athletes, families, and volunteers. Their donation reflects a shared commitment to building safer, stronger communities.
Thank you for standing with us—and helping protect the future of Peel.
